I was 18 years old and staying with my brother when the twin towers were struck. What started out as my routine morning workout changed drastically when the news broadcasted the first attack. Everyone gathered around the gyms television watching in awe. I hurried back to my brothers apartment, we turned on the television and watched the rest of the events unfold. My mother called in a panic, she was worried that I was going to be recruited to go and fight for our country.
